Lennart Sloof, Online Marketer, Deloitte, Netherlands

Lennart is Online Marketer at Deloitte, The Netherlands and public speaker on topics like online marketing, social media and social recruitment. I have been involved with Deloitte’s social recruitment activities from the very beginning, which gives me the advantage of combining knowledge of the recruitment processes and experience in creating wide support throughout the entire organization on why social media is not a threat, nor a potential danger, but a very effective way in reaching all sorts of organizational goals. It has proven to be a long process, but it has given me the experience needed to influence decision making units on why and how to use social media strategies and online marketing for employer branding purposes as well as personal branding. Building a new career site, creating a first social media strategy and measuring all online activities were the first online steps. Two years ago there was little frame of reference. Today the team is working on content management for the career site and all social media platforms. Everything is being monitored by Google Analytics, which results in optimization as a never ending process. My team is preparing the Deloitte recruiters to adopt these new online recruitment sources and make it part of their daily routines.
