Professor Harvard University, Director Labor Studies National Bureau of Economic research, Senior research fellow CEP LSE
Professor Freeman is a member of the American Academy of Arts and Sciences and has served on five of their panels. He has published over 300 articles dealing with a wide range of research interests including the job market for scientists and engineers, the growth and decline of unions, the effects of immigration and trade on inequality, restructuring European welfare states, Chinese labor markets, youth labor markets problems, poverty and crime, self0organising non-unions in the labor market, and employee involvement programs.

Eszter is an assistant professor of communication studies and sociology and Faculty associate of the institute for policy research at NorthWestern university. She received her Ph D in Sociology from Princeton University in 2003 and was a post-doctural fellow at the Centre for Arts and Cultural Policy.
