Who will judge this years nominees?
Ruth Owen, CEO, WhizzKidz
Ruth Owen joined Whizz-Kidz as Chief Executive in 2004 after running her own successful IT company for ten years.
A wheelchair user since the age of seven, Ruth has a unique insight into the essential need for all young people to be independently mobile. Having overcome prejudice and discrimination to build a successful career she felt she could bring her business skills and understanding of the cause to the role. "I know what a difference having a wheelchair made to my life at seven years old and I want to enable more children to experience the joy of freedom and fulfill their potential".
Ruth is also a trustee of Barnardo's.
Larry Cucchi, Managing Director, PeopleClick
Larry has over 25 years of information technology and application software experience. He is responsible for Peopleclick's UK and European business development and client services based in London, England. Under Larry's direction the UK office supports over 40 European clients and partners with services including customer and application support, engineering, and implementation. Larry is also responsible for UK and European sales and marketing.This is the fourth year that Larry has judged the Onrec.com Awards, and he is very aware of the latest developments within the market.
Joe Rodgers, Managing Director, WJP Floyd
Joe’s been in recruitment advertising for over 20 years now. He’s worked at some of the UK’s biggest agencies and launched his own in 1995, so he knows the industry inside out. His focus is, and always has been, on delivering solutions that meet client needs. In particular he looks to integrate online options into the solutions his agency provides.
Outside of advertising, Joe is a true family man. He lives in Surrey with his wife and two children. His other passion? Football. When he’s not ranting at his beloved Celtic, he’s either playing 5-a-side himself or masterminding tactical victories for a girls’ junior football team.
Andrew Warbuton, Founder and MD, Marshal Warbuton
Andrew established Marshall Warburton in 1996. He previously worked in the City in the Japanese Equity Derivative market before joining the recruitment industry. He initially joined Harrison Willis (now part of TMP) and latterly Alexander Mann. Over the last 11 years he has developed Marshall Warburton into a leading financial recruitment company with divisions covering; Financial Markets, Actuarial & Insurance, Public Sector and International Finance. Away from recruitment, he lives in Clapham, South West London with his wife and two young sons.
The Onrec.com Team
This year the Onrec.com Editorial and Production team will also be scoring the finalists (David Hurst will not be taking part in this process).
Matt Burney (sales director), Ben Shingleton (production editor) and Stuart Gentle (marketing exec) will all take part and score finalists according to validity, relevance and supporting documentation. Their combined view of the nominations will count for 1 judging panel vote.
